Our History
Our club was founded in 1963 following a community meeting held in late 1962, with support from the Sandringham Council to establish a new tennis facility for the area. The first courts were completed in 1964, followed by the clubhouse in 1966. Over the years, additional courts were added in 1972 and 1982, bringing the total to seven. In 1993, lights were installed on three courts, and in 2005, six courts were fully resurfaced, with lighting added to another. Most recently, in 2024, lights were added to two additional courts, making all six en tout cas courts available for night play.
Situated on council land, the club is part of the Beaumaris Community Centre, fostering a strong connection with the local community.
