Court Resurfacing Project Update

We're almost there...

As was announced on our Instagram and Facebook pages, the resurfacing project on our top three courts is well underway, and with the improved weather it's now rapidly approaching completion. For those of you who've missed any of the latest project updates, here's a quick recap:

Cold, foggy conditions set the backdrop for Day 1 of the project, but thanks to the amazing efforts of our friends at ASTE Synthetic Turf, good progress was still made. Similarly challenging weather did continue to have a minor impact on works over the following weeks, but with some persistence- and eventually, a break from the rain- work was fortunately able to proceed as planned. The entire area was thoroughly rotary hoed, and tree roots were dealt with under Council supervision. Levelling work was also completed to ensure the resulting surface is totally flat, and of the highest quality.

In summary, despite some minor weather-related setbacks, the resurfacing project is progressing well and works are going according to plan. We absolutely can't wait to welcome you to the exciting future of Banyule Tennis Club, and to see you all enjoying these amazing new courts as soon as possible.
