The 2025 Junior Development Series (JDS) continues with the next event in Cairns! This is a great opportunity for players to compete, improve, and gain valuable match experience.

2025 JDS Far North Region – Cairns (2-Day Event) – Entry Deadline Approaching!

This is just a reminder that entries for the 2025 JDS Far North Region – Cairns (2-day) event close on Sunday, March 16th at 11:59 PM. Make sure you get your entries in before the deadline!

 Tournament Dates:
Saturday, March 22nd – Boys' & Girls Events (13 & Under + 17 & Under)
Sunday, March 23rd – Boys' & Girls Events (13 & Under + 17 & Under) / Green Ball / Orange Ball

NEW! Rookie Event 

We’re excited to introduce a ‘Rookie’ event into the JDS! This is designed to encourage first-time tournament playersof any age and skill level to experience match play in a fun and supportive environment. If you're new to competitive tennis and want to give it a go, this is the perfect entry point!

Since this is a UTR-based event, players will be grouped within their respective age brackets (13's & 17's) according to their UTR standard. Players must meet the age requirements for their category. If you turn 13 or older in 2025, enter the 17 & Under division. Players under 13 can choose to play in the 17's. Green & Orange ball players must train with the coloured ball at their club—check with your coach for the right category.
