The appointment of her tennis academy, Louise Pleming Academy, ensures that Killara Lawn Tennis Club would be operated by an elite professional who understands not only how elite tennis is built, but also how great clubs endure.

The inclusion of active and recently active elite professionals as Specialist Coaches ensures that Killara’s coaching framework is:

Cory Cattaway

Tennis Coach | Junior Development Specialist

Cory Cattaway is a dedicated and technically skilled tennis coach with over a decade of experience working with juniors and adults across a range of abilities. Trained from a young age under an LTA Level 5 Master Coach, Cory brings a strong foundation in stroke mechanics, footwork patterns, and player biomechanics.

He has coached several junior players through key development stages from red to yellow ball and is confident delivering both group and individual programs. Cory also has experience running structured squad sessions, holiday performance camps, and community-based coaching initiatives for players of all ages.

Known for his clear communication, positive coaching style, and ability to provide precise, actionable feedback, Cory creates an engaging learning environment that supports steady improvement and long-term player confidence.

Qualifications:
• LTA Level 1 Coaching Qualification
• BA (Hons), Nottingham Trent University

 

 

Reinaldo Hidalgo

Tennis Coach

Former professional tennis player.

Working privately with ITF players in Australia, China, Japan, The Phillipines and soon Indonesia and Hong Kong.

Working and being mentored by Bastien Liveriou (The One Tennis Academy) former Head Coach of Bruguera Academy in Hong Kong and Justin Henin Tennis Academy.

Working alongside and being mentored by coaches like Alan Ma from Star River and Robert Davis.

Grand Slam experience being next to players like Xinju Wang, Hanyu Guo, Sasai Zheng and Moyuka Uchijima from the Star River Team.

Working with provincial teams and professional tournaments in China next to Robert Davis.

Upcoming collaborations with Magnus Norman (former number 2 in the world and coach of Stan Wawrinka), Mark Gellard (Coach of Magda Linette) and Alberto Castellani (Coach of Janko Tipsarevic, Ivo Karlovic, Marc Rosset, Hichal Arazi, Karim Alami, George Basl, Rainer Schuettler, and Damir Dzumhur).

 

Alex Osborne

Tennis Coach

Professional tennis player.

Alexandra Osborne is a Sydney-born professional tennis player. Starting the sport at 12, she rose quickly through Australia’s junior ranks while at Meriden School before earning a scholarship to Arizona State University, where she became a Pac-12 Doubles Champion, All-American, NCAA Quarterfinalist and standout leader both on and off the court.

After turning professional in 2018, Alexandra climbed the doubles rankings and is currently ranked 232 in the WTA Doubles rankings and has a career high singles ranking of 626. Alexandra has won 5 ITF doubles titles, the biggest being a W100 in Tyler, Texas in 2024.

Alongside competing Alexandra is also a founding member of RALLY4EVER and has represented Asia/Oceania on the ITF Players Panel for the past 4 years.
