Code of Conduct
Belrose Tennis Club is administered and run by volunteers who appreciate the help and input from fellow members to ensure the facilities and experiences for our members are continually being improved and enjoyed by all.
By reading and adhering to the following Code of Conduct and Tennis Etiquette we hope you can make the most of your membership. Should you have any concerns with any aspect of the club or its members, please discuss these with any member of the current committee.
General Code of Conduct
- Respect the rights, dignity and worth of others.
- Be fair, considerate and honest in all dealing with others.
- Understand and operate within the rules of tennis.
- Maintain high standards of personal behaviour including, but not restricted to, language, temper and other unacceptable behaviour.
- Refrain from any form of harassment towards, or discrimination against others.
- Be a positive role model especially for our junior members.
- Respect the role of our coaches and let them do the coaching.
- Be aware of and respect the varying playing abilities of your fellow members and play social tennis in a spirit of mutual enjoyment.
- Resolve any conflicts fairly and promptly.
- If necessary, ask for assistance from our committee members.
- Take care of and respect the equipment and facilities provided by the club.
