Club Rules

The following club rules must be followed and will ensure the enjoyment for all using the Club:

  • As a courtesy to the next players using the court, before departing at the end of a booking, players are asked to use the provided brooms or mats to rake off the rubbish and respread the sand across the court.
  • Children under 12 must always be supervised by a responsible adult.
  • Do not use courts for any sporting activities except tennis unless you receive prior approval from the Committee.
  • All players are to book through the Club's court booking system to ensure that courts are available and that the correct fees are paid.
  • The main gate to the court precinct should be closed after booked players enter.
  • If the gate is open when you arrive for your booking, or you are one of several groups arriving at the same time, please ensure you enter your booking code before you enter.
  • If using the clubhouse, please leave the facilities clean and tidy (cleaning materials have been provided and are located throughout the clubhouse).  Items left in the fridge by users for more than a week may be discarded if the fridge is required to store event items.
  • If you have rubbish or recyclables, please place them in the appropriate bins beside the clubhouse.
  • Please turn off the internal clubhouse lights after use and close the door. It will lock automatically. The external lights are controlled by a timer.
  • Report any maintenance or damage to the Club's Asset Manager, Steve Brain, via email at amainslietennis@gmail.com
  • The gate can be open during approved events such as Social Sunday, Racqueteers, and Pennant tennis but should be closed after each entry. The toilet in the clubhouse is not a public toilet, and keeping the gate closed signals to the public that the toilet is not generally accessible.
  • No smoking inside the boundaries of the courts and clubhouse.
  • Follow any advisory signs.
