Head Coach - Andrea Simpson

Andrea is originally from the UK and started playing tennis age 6. She was a top 10 British Junior and part of the national training squad. She gained a full tennis scholaship to NCAA Div 1 Kansas State University and is a WA State league winner.

Her coaching career started at Felixstowe Lawn Tennis Club in 2003 where she worked mainly with juniors in group and private lessons. She was also traveling coach with the Suffolk Junior girls team.

Andrea re located to Australia and stated coaching at Scarborough Tennis Academy in 2007 where she was part of the team for 17yrs. She delivered Hotshots, Cardio Tennis, junior squads, adult groups and private lessons. She was Scarborough's junior pennant coordinator and managed the program for 10 years. In this time she also coached multiple Super 10's teams. 

Andrea is new to Kalgoorlie and as of October 2024 is excited to bring AS Tennis and her wealth of playing and coaching experience to Goldfields Tennis Club.

Andrea is married with 2 young daughters.
