Weekend Results (October 31st –November 1st)

Another big weekend of tennis for Team Woodside, with plenty of close contests and great sportsmanship on show!

Orange Ball: Woodside with a strong all-round performance and great teamwork, defeating Aldgate 5 sets to 1.

Green Ball: Lobethal defeated Woodside 4 sets to 2 some solid rallies and continued improvement from our players, including Charlotte Fry for a singles win of 6-2, and Mille Dalziel’s singles victory 6-4 after filling up from Orange Ball.

Saturday Juniors
Yellow Ball Boys: Some tough matches, but plenty of effort from the team, unfortunately Littlehampton defeating Woodside 6 sets to 0.
Yellow Ball Girls: Close sets and great fighting spirit from the girls. Piccadilly defeated Woodside 4 sets to 2. Anna Colla walking away with a confident win against Picadilly’s number 1.
 

Saturday Seniors
A/B Grade: Birdwood defeated Woodside on games 6 sets all, 56 games to 54 — an absolute thriller right to the end!
C Grade: Gumeracha defeated Woodside 7–5 (60–38) — strong rallies and great determination throughout.
