Wonthaggi District Tennis Club

Welcome to our club! You’ll find us in located in the sports precinct in the heart of Wonthaggi, just behind the YMCA with easy access from Wentworth Road.

With a rich history in the local community, our club was officially formed in 1972, following the amalgamation of several local clubs. This is where we have been located ever since.

In 2020, we upgraded our facilities with brand-new courts and a modern clubhouse which are in brilliant condition. We now have five mod grass courts & two plexi-pave courts, along with great amenities, lighting for night matches, and plenty of parking.

We’re a welcoming and inclusive club that caters to players of all standards and abilities with a range of playing options, from coaching & lessons to competitions and social tennis. It doesn't matter if you’re picking up a racquet for the first time, or have been playing for years, there’s a place here for you.
