MINUTES OF 88TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

TUESDAY, November 9th,  2021

8 pm, held via Zoom

Present:

Rowena Donaghy, Carmel Onions, Annette Sheppard, Jan Slater, Anton Soepardi,  Timothy Sheppard,  Daniel Watts, Andy Glenn, Kate O’Connor, Jonathan Beh, Hope Stewart, Denise Taylor, Rosemary Walker

Rowena Donaghy welcomed all members present and declared the 88th Annual General Meeting of Willison Park Tennis Club open

Confirmation of the 2020/21 AGM minutes:

Moved:  Jan Slater

Seconded: Daniel Watts

The minutes of the 2020 AGM were confirmed as a true record of that meeting.

Annual Report

The annual report was presented by the outgoing committee. (See the attached annual report).

Coaches Report

Tim Sheppard and Annette Sheppard presented the Coaches Report, see attached.

Approval of membership fees for the 2022/23 membership year

It has been decided subscription fees will remain as presented in Membership Secretary's report for next financial year. There is no financial reason to do so at present.  The Committee reserve the right to alter this decision should maintenance fees of the club materially increase

Confirmation of complimentary membership for 2021/2022

In light of the small number of volunteers on the committee and the need to make committee membership more attractive, it was agreed an adult membership to be provided to all volunteer committee members.

Election of Office Bearers:

Rowena Donaghy declared all positions vacant. No nominations had been received for executive positions and general committee members prior to the meeting.
