WLTC Club Champs are hosted at Thomastown Tennis Club 

The competition will be held over 3 days in April and will be played on both synthetic grass and en-tout-cas surfaces.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase during the tournament.

No BYO Alcohol is permitted.

All Entrants MUST be a paid member of the West Lalor Tennis Club

Competition Gradings - Juniors:

The Gradings are based on the Autumn season sections of the NEJTA Saturday morning competition:

• A Grade Boys events: sections 1 to 8 (Including JPL)
• A Grade Girls events: sections 1 to 3
• B Grade Boys events: sections 9 to 15
• B Grade Girls events: sections 4 to 6
• C Grade Boys & Girls events: doubles sections (green dot ball)

Competition Gradings – Open Age:

The Gradings are based on the Autumn season sections of the NENTG night competition:

• Note: NEJTA Junior players are welcome to enter
• A Grade Men’s events; sections 1 to 8 (Juniors JPL and sections 1-3)
• A Grade Ladie’s events: sections 1 to 7 (Juniors sections 1-3)
• B Grade Men’s events: sections 9 to 15 (Juniors sections 4 onwards)
• B Grade Ladie’s events: sections 8 - 13 (Juniors sections 4 onwards)

Event Dates:

• Friday 17th April 2026: Open and Junior Mixed Doubles Events – 7:00 pm start
• Saturday 18th April 2026: Open Age Singles Events and Junior Doubles Events – 1:30 pm start
• Sunday 19th April 2026: Junior Singles Events and Open Age Doubles Events – 9:00 am start
• Sunday 26th April 2026: all unfinished matches (Backup day) – 9:00 am start

Format:

A Grade Singles events - knock-out:

• Round matches will be 8-game set, tie-break at 7-all
• Semi-final matches will be 8 game set advantage (ongoing to win by 2 games)
• Grand-final matches will best of 3 sets, 1st and 2nd will be tie break at 6-all, 3rd will be 10 point tie-break

B Grade Singles events _ knock-out:

• Round-robin matches will be 8-game set, tie-break at 7-all
• Semi-final and Grand-final matches will be 8-game set, advantage (ongoing to win by 2 games)

A and B Grade Doubles and Mixed Doubles round-robin:

• 6 game set, tie-break at 5-all
• Finals may be played if there is more than 1 group

C Grade Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles events _ round-robin:

• Juniors only - Green dot ball
• 6 game set straight
• Finals may be played if there is more than 1 group

Note:

• Semi-finals and/or Grand-finals will be played if there is more than one group in each event
• Boys / Girls groups may be combined, depending on the number of entries
• The proposed playing format may alter, depending on the number of entries
• If any matches or events are incomplete, they will be completed on the backup day as arranged by the committee
• NEJTA Junior players are welcome to enter the Open Age Events as well as the Junior Events
