2020

Western Suburbs Lawn Tennis Association Limited are very appreciative to Westconnex for providing the opportunity for organisation to apply for community grants.

This grant enhanced has the sustainability of our club with the provision of a new petrol mower. The new mower cuts the courts providing a professional surface.

​Inner West Council supported the club’s grant application with a letter of support.

​Without the opportunity to apply for grants the upgrading of sporting clubs would not be possible.

2021

Western Suburbs Lawn Tennis Association Limited is very appreciative of the Westconnex Community Grants.

This year the club was successful for a Sandpiper Super Soppa Roller. This equipment will be a tremendous helping the continued use of synthetic & grass courts after rain.

Coaching classes on weekends are able to continue now we have this equipment.

Prior to obtaining the roller play had to be stop. This was constant problem during school holidays causing the cancellation of camps. Now we have means to dry the courts and play can be continued.

Weekend social was also unable to be played, now members have a chance to continue play after the roller collects the surface water.

Our club was also lucky to have received a grant for a mower in 2020 which now provides a professional lawn tennis surface.

Without the support of Westconnex grants community club would struggle to provide vital equipment to enhance the facilities for the members, coaching and community hirers.
