Walkerville Lawn Tennis Club

Featuring four well presented lawn courts in a picturesque setting beside the tree-lined banks of the River Torrens Linear Park at Creswell Court, Gilberton. You can join and become a member or hire the courts and club rooms.

The tennis season runs from mid October to the end of April / early May, weather permitting.

Walkerville Lawn Tennis Club celebrated 100 years in 2018. The Club is managed by an all volunteer committee.

In 2022 Mark Frankcom  was nominated President. 

Membership fees are amongst the lowest for any Club in Adelaide with lawn courts.

Lawn is great for players returning to the game after knee or back injury; being much gentler on the body than synthetic or hard surfaces. 

The Club welcomes new players throughout the summer season. 

While the tennis is a social format, the play is to a high standard of friendly competitiveness!

Monday nights during day light savings: Twilight Tennis from 6pm. Mixed Doubles.

Tuesday afternoons (from 2pm): Men's doubles

Wednesday mornings (from 9.15am): Ladies' doubles

Saturday afternoons (from 1pm): Mixed Doubles
