Regional Talent Series
Off the back of information gathered from regional stakeholders and the Tennis West Regional working group, of which our vice capatain Alexandra is part of— Tennis West introduce the "Regional Talent Series". The initiative has been designed to increase talent id and tournament pathways for players based in regional areas.
These tournaments will be run in 10 regions across WA.
Players are only able to compete in ONE tournament and it must be within their region.
The Regional Talent Series will involve:
- A 12/U yellow ball, singles event tournament.
- The winners of both the boys and girls 12/U event in each region will be invoted to a talent id camp in Perth on 12-13 April 2025 (full duty of care camp held at the State Tennis Centre)
- This event will be fully supported by Tennis West but is not a Tennis Australia Sanctioned Tournament (therefore no UTR or player race points will be rewarded)
