On Sunday 24 August 2025, at Trevino's restaurant, about eighty-four guests enjoyed celebrating the birthdays of seven ACT Tennis Seniors members. David Burke is the first recipient of the NBN (Now Bloody Ninety) award, and he was joined by six OBE(Over Bloody Eighty) youngsters. These were Helen Macduff, Terry Walker, Annette Richardson, Don Masters, Michael Chin and Wendy Parker.

Family and friends were entertained and inspired by the tennis biographies and the confirmation that tennis keeps you young. It also ensures lifelong friendships and healthy drinking habits, despite medical appointments and surgeries. Some guests even wanted to have a wheelchair race!

 Thanks to Graham and Betty Smith and Warren Muller for all their efforts in helping today's event run smoothly, other Committee members and tennis volunteers(in general) for ensuring that tennis thrives and popular celebration events such as today continue.
