What We Offer:
Tennis is a great way to stay fit, meet new people, and have fun with family and friends. Whether it’s at the beach, down the driveway or at your local club, it’s easy to pick up a racquet and play tennis regardless of your age.
Tennis Palmerston run a wide range of adult programs to suit every need.
- Are you new to tennis and want to learn the basic fundamentals so you can hit with a mate any time you please?
- Wanting to use tennis to get your step count up?
- Are you new to town and are looking for a way to stay fit and make new friends?
Lucky for you, our club is the place to be! There are a variety of ways you can have a hit. Here are some ways you can enjoy tennis.
Coaching Programs:
- Intermediate Adult Coaching Monday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30pm. Final session for 2024 on Mon 9th of Dec & recommences on Mon 3rd of Feb 2025.
- Beginner Adults Coaching Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30pm. Final session for 2024 on Wed 11th of Dec & recommences on Wed 5th of Feb 2025.
- Friday morning ladies coaching 9:00 - 10:30am. Final session for 2024 on Fri 13th of Dec & recommences on Fri 7th of Feb 2025.
Social Matchplay:
- Social Tennis Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:45pm. Final session for 2024 on Tue 10th of Dec & recommences on Tue 28th of Jan 2025.
Competitions:
- Thursday Night Premier League - Div 2 Season 1 2025 commences on Thursday 6th of Feb & fineshes on Thursday 3rd of April (9 week season). Please submit your EOI for this competiton by no later then Thur 30th of Jan 2025.
Fitness Programs
- Cardio Tennis Monday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00pm. Final session for 2024 on Mon 9th of Dec & recommences on Mon 3rd of Feb 2025.
Pickleball:
- Social Pickleball Tuesday Evenings from 7:00 - 8:00pm. Final session for 2024 on Tue 10th of Dec & recommences on Tue 28th of Jan 2025.
Please note, we offer a FREE trial session for each of the programs we offer. After your trial session & if you wish to particpate on a regular basis you will need to become a member. Membership costs $10, it lasts the calendar year & this covers your insurance when you step out on court.
