It is with deep sadness to inform you of the passing of our esteemed Life Member, Mary Simpson, last Sunday.   

Mary was a loyal and dedicated member since the early 1970s.   Her strength and determination, both on and off the court, contributed greatly to the expansion of the club, especially during the 70s and 80s.

Besides serving on many selection and sub-committees, Mary was elected on Committee to the following positions:

1976/77 -   Committee member 

1977/78 -   Social Secretary

1982/83 to 1984/85  -  Junior Manager 

1985/86 -   Vice President 

1986/87 to 1989/90 -  President  

In recognition of her years of service to the club, Mary was bestowed Life Membership in 1990.   

Sincere condolences are extended to husband Val, children Terri, Sean and families.
