Cardio Tennis Reminder - Every Thursday 6pm @ Yarra Street

All members are welcome to join this 45-minute workout session. At $12 a session it’s a great way to get in some extra hitting practise whilst improving your cardio.

Friday 31st March 2023 – Round Robin Social Play @ Yarra Street

(5:30pm - 7:30pm) Singles Round Robins (short 7-point tiebreaks and rotate) looking for around 8 people.

For those interested in having a reasonable hit to refine their game, come and join us for some fast tiebreak games, mainly single format (though doubles could be accommodated if needed). As there are 3 courts we'll have 6 people and quickly rotate as they finish a fast 7 point tie break game. This is suited to those wanting to have reasonable practice with a variety of players but lack the time or interest in playing extended sets. We can cater for up to 8 people with 2 people in waiting. We start with a 15-minute warm up and then get into the tie breaks. This will be a once off event, but if there is interest, we'll host further events in the future. Easter Friday 7th April 2023 (all day) Shepparton Grass Court Tournament

Last year we had 1 person travel regionally to complete in a grass court tournament and this year we have 2. We are sure that this will grow and grow over time. Currently, we have players playing B, C and Veteran Grade Singles. You're welcome to form a team to play doubles or singles. Matches start on Friday and winners stay to play Saturday and Sunday. At this stage we're planning to only play on the Friday and go home (or onward travels) after that. If there are enough people, we could have a St John's dinner at a local pub. If we win and progress to later rounds, we could stay overnight but to be frank we'd be happy to win 1 or 2 rounds and then go home on Friday (or onward travel). Saturday 2nd September 2023 – Annual Dinner Dance

Save this date! On Saturday 2nd September the 2023 Annual Social Fundraising Dinner Dance will be held at La Trobe Golf Club, 8 Farm Road, Alphington.

Time: 6.30pm to 11.30pm

Cost: circa $80.00 per Head, 3 course meal and music provided and drinks at bar prices.
