Adult Night Competitions NENTG
The men’s, vet’s and women’s competitions operate through the North Eastern Night Tennis Group (NENTG). Men’s and Vet’s play on Tuesdays and Women’s on Wednesdays. There are two seasons during the year with Autumn running from February to May and Spring running from August to November.
Our home venue is SJCTC 54 Yarra Street Heidelberg and we do hire courts at East Preston Park and Ivanhoe due to the number of teams we have.
We are always looking for new players to join any of our teams.

Metro Masters Competitions – Thursday Afternoon
St John’s tennis club fields three teams in a mixed Metro Masters Competition which is a competition for age 50+ only male and female.
It is a doubles competition with teams of four with each player playing three sets each week first to eight with tie breaker at 7 all
Our home games are played on the En Tout Cas courts at Collier Street Preston East and play each week commences at 1pm.
There are currently 40 teams divided into six sections and players are ranked accordingly and all Grand Finals are played at the North Ringwood Tennis Club which has 12 en tout cas courts.
Home teams provide supper at the end of play each week which gives the players a chance to meet their opponents
