We operate five floodlit synthetic grass courts in a pleasant bushland setting within the Spring Gully Recreation Reserve, on the south-eastern outskirts of Bendigo. Participation in the various social and competition tennis activities we run are open to everyone, though membership is encouraged, and it certainly has its advantages for regular players. Members may hire the courts free of charge for personal use, with the online Book A Court system making that most convenient, and members enjoy discounted rates in club competitions and social sessions.
As a club affiliated with the Bendigo Tennis Association, Spring Gully members are able to participate in the BTA's Summer Pennant competitions and its mid-week day and evening competitions. Club 'Social' tennis runs Saturday afternoons (12.30-5pm) and Tuesday evenings (6.30-10pm approx.) throughout the year. Internal club competitions run on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights (October-April, with a break over Christmas-New Year). Between April and September we offer a pairs (T2s) competition on Monday evenings.
