Courts 5 & 6 – Maintenance Update

Courts 5 and 6 have recenlty had a full groom and decompaction.

As part of this work, existing and extra sand was redistributed evenly across the surface. This is an important part of maintaining sythetic clay courts — the surface sand helps replicate natural clay, allows players to slide safely, and protects the base layer from wear. The courts will continue to settle naturally with regular play.

Because the sand has been redistributed, the lines will need a bit more sweeping than previoulsy.  Extra brooms are being purchased for these courts.
