We are excited to announce that courts 1 and 2 have been fully refurbished with a new SynClay surface and officially opened for play on Thursday 15th September 2022.

Members who have been at the club recently would have seen the progress and the Committee thanks everyone for their patience and understanding while we had the courts closed for the past 2 and half weeks.  The original surface had given us great value, being down for approximately 14 years but the worn surface had become slippery over the past year.

We engaged the same contractors, AS lodge, who had previously refurbished them as well as courts 5 & 6. The investment was significant at just over $80,000 for both courts including a new brick edge on west boundary of court 2 which will help retain sand on the court. We are confident our members will love the new comfort and performance of the courts and wish everyone many more years of enjoyment.

Please also note that each court now has 1 Aussie clean sweep mat which helps collect the leaves. They are lighter than the other mats but very expensive so please take care if needing to use them for leaf removal.
