TERMS and CONDITIONS

1. Enrolment

a. Programs: Students will be placed into their classes based on considerations such as ability, age, gender, and availability

b. New Enrolments: Prior to the start of private or group lessons, all students must complete an enrolment form. Payment for classes must be made before attending the first lesson

c. Term Re-Enrolment: Students already enrolled in SG Tennis programs have priority for the following term

 

2. Payments and Refunds

a. Payment: Payment in full must be made at the beginning of the Term. Failure to provide full payment by the start of the first class may result in the suspension of further lessons until payment is made

b. Refunds: No refunds will be given for non-attendance at group classes or private lessons. However, a refund or credit may be offered if you have a valid medical reason preventing you/your child from attending three or more consecutive classes

 

3. Method of Payment

a. Payments must be made by Bank Transfer or Pay ID

b. Class Confirmation and Changes: Once the class has been confirmed, any last-minute changes will be attempted to be accommodated but are not guaranteed by SG Tennis

 

4. Late Payments

a. If payment is not made on time or prior arrangements are not made with SG Tennis, your child may be removed from the Class List.

 

5. Consent to Participate & Declaration of Fitness

a. The participant acknowledges and accepts the inherent risks associated with participating in a SG Tennis event or program, including physical activity

b. The participant confirms that they are physically fit and able to participate in the SG Tennis event or program. Any changes to the participant's medical condition, fitness, or ability to participate must be immediately notified to a SG Tennis member

 

6. Safeguarding Children Policy

a.SG Tennis maintains a zero-tolerance approach to any form of child abuse and is committed to creating a safe and friendly environment for children and young people who access our activities, programs, events, or services

 

7. Supervision of Juniors Policy

a. SG Tennis coaches are not responsible for bringing students to the lessons or supervising children outside of lesson time. If a student is too young to go to the bathroom alone, please ensure a parent or guardian is present. SG tennis is not responsible for children outside of their lesson time

 

8. Heat and Wet weather Policy

a. All notifications about cancellations due to rain or excessive heat for GROUP LESSONS will be made on the SG Tennis Instagram site 30 minutes prior to the lesson. Private and Semi-private classes will be notified via SMS or phone call

b. Wash Outs/Excessive Heat: Any lessons or groups that are cancelled by SG Tennis due to inclement weather will be made up during the term. Any lesson that has completed 50% of the allocated time is considered a completed lesson

 

9. Private/Semi-Private/Group Classes Lesson Cancellation Policy

a. Private Lesson Cancellation: Private lesson cancellation must be given 24 hours in advance of the lesson to reschedule and only 1 per term is allowed

b. Semi-Private Lesson Cancellation: It is the responsibility of the respective players to inform each other if they are unable to keep to their scheduled date and time. If given 24 hours' notice by email, the scheduled lesson may be rescheduled if both players agree but with the understanding only I make up class per term will be permitted

c. Group Class Cancellation: Cancellation of group classes must be given 24 hours in advance to reschedule. Only one cancellation per term will be permitted, and the coach will advise on the day and time of that make up class

d. All cancellations made by the participant with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged. No make-up lessons will be given for late cancellations

 

10. Credit Policy

a. Lesson payments are non-refundable. Immediate family members only can use the credit for private lessons

 

11. Parent/Guardian Policy

a. SG Tennis will only allow the students who are participating in the class to be on court so to create a safe and a positive learning environment

 

12. Medical Policy

SG tennis will act according to their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention. I release SG tennis from any and all liability for injury or illness and costs, incurred while undertaking a program or event with SG Tennis

 

13. Behaviour

a. SG Tennis reserves the right to exclude any child/pupil from any activities if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, likely to put others in danger, or inconsistent with our values and standards

 

14. Privacy Policy

a.Your privacy is important to us. The data collected from you will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company without your consent. The email address and phone number you provide may be used to send you information, respond to inquiries, and address other requests or questions

 

15. Disclaimers

a. SG Tennis holds no responsibility for accidents, past or present injuries and illnesses, or disabilities sustained during lessons or while being present at any of our facilities

b. Clients are advised to wear appropriate footwear and clothing during their lessons for proper support for tennis movements and general safety

c. Filming and Photography: By joining our programs, you consent to the recording of your likeness and/or voice and permit SG Tennis (and partners) to use these images/footage, rights-free, for marketing purposes, unless you inform us of your objection in advance via email
