Member Protections policy

Samford tennis club take seriously our duty of care to  children and young people, as well as their families and community. The Tennis Australia Member Protection Policy has been develope as part of Tennis Australia's ongoing commitment to health, safety and wellbeing of its members and participants, Member Protection is all about practices and procedures, which protect a sport organisation's members. 

 

Code of behaviour

The code of behaviour regulates behaviour breaches related to and during weekly competitions and tournaments in Australia. We are committed to protecting the integrity of tennis and ensuring we provide a healthy and positive environment for members and non members.

 

Safeguarding Children Code of Conduct

This code of conduct has been developed specifically to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of all children participating in Australian tennis programs, activities, events or services, and to outline the clear behaviour standards required of personnel when dealing with children participating in Australian tennis.

This covers all things related to children within tennis along with reinforcing our commitment to child safety and all of the standards in our member protection policy. It provides guidance around common interactions with children including transport and overnight stays.

 

Social Media Policy

Samford Tennis Club encourages the use of social media and recognises and appreciates the value of social media as a tool for our tennis community to engage, communicate and share. As social media is shared in the public realm, it is important that members of Samford Tennis community conduct themselves appropriately whilst using social media and ensure that the public reputation of our club is protected.

 

Privacy Policy

Samford Tennis Club is committed to the protection of your personal information in accordance with the National Privacy Principles, and from 12 March 2014, the Australian Privacy Principles, set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
