COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS & IMPORTANT UPDATE
Roseville Lawn Tennis Club have created a compliance framework to ensure that our Members/Community remain safe. The Committee is committed to ensuring everyone feels comfortable that the activities taking place at the venues are in strict compliance with current Public Health Orders.
Members and Non-members are now encouraged to book courts themselves through the court hire tab. Please note that doubles players must all be double vaxed. The club will not take any responsibility for the fines issued if these rules are broken. Masks must be worn when inside the clubhouse, except for when eating and drinking.
As of the 11th of October, Roseville Lawn Tennis Club understands that local tennis can resume with the following conditions:
-Every person aged 16 years or older must be fully vaccinated to participate in tennis activities in groups of 3 to 20 people
-Sport and excercise in groups is limited to a maximum of 20 people, regardless of age;
-Masks are no longer required in outdoor areas.
-For any players who remain unvaccinated, they remain limited to singles play only.
All additional rules regarding sign in procedures, face masks and safe distances if using the bathroom facilities still apply.
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL HAVE A DOUBLE DOSE RECORD SPREADSHEET LOCATED AT THE CLUBHOUSE BAR. PLEASE EMAIL US OR INFORM IN PERSON AND YOUR NAME CAN BE ADDED.
Introduction
Roseville Lawn Tennis Club (RLTC) is one of Sydney's leading tennis clubs. The Club has a rich history and was incorporated in November 1972.
Located on the leafy green belt of Sydney's North Shore, the club is close to public transport (walking distance from Roseville Train Station and serviced by bus routes from nearby Chatswood).
The Club is affiliated with Tennis NSW, and actively participates in promoting tennis at all levels in our community.
We have attracted loyal members from all over Sydney and welcome new players of all standards. The Club is dedicated to facilitating our members' involvement in social play and competition. Our players have won the Sydney Badge Premier League Competition multiple times. We have several Men's and Ladies competition teams.
We have 6 artificial turf courts and a two storey spacious Clubhouse, boasting a large outdoor verandah with BBQ facilities overlooking the courts. We are a licensed, registered club, our bar features a variety of beer on tap and selection of wine and soft drink varieties.
Our Club offers a real sense of community. We have an active social calendar full of events including Australia Day, Melbourne Cup Day, annual Trivia Nights and many informal get-togethers for members including regular Sunday lunch barbecues.
We partner with Roseville Tennis Coaching who specialise in and facilitate juniors private & group coaching as well as holiday programmes and junior competition opportunities.
RLTC have also partnered with Happy Tennis Club (HTC) which operates HTC Mixed Tennis - Sunday Mornings @ 6:30AM - 10:00AM at the Club.
