Friday nights, 7-9pm, Reid Tennis Club, 17A Dirrawan Gardens, Reid. Four consecutive Fridays, 21 March to 11 April
Come and Try it out.
POP tennis is a fast-paced social game , with similar rules and scoring to regular tennis, but
- played on a smaller court,
- with smaller racquets,
- a low compression ball, and only one underarm serve.
It’s easy to learn and have longer rallies straightaway. With four people on small court, conversation is easy, making for a social atmosphere. Perfect for
- people wanting an easy, enjoyable social game
- young adults wanting to make or consolidate friendships
- children learning tennis
- older adults with mobility issues

Our sessions cost nothing the first time you come. Non-members pay $10 for each subsequent two hours session. All equipment supplied. Wear sports shoes so as to not harm the synthetic grass court surface.
Friday 28 March, features an expert from Tennis ACT introducing the game, and guiding practice drills and exercises. But you’re welcome to come to any or all of the sessions.
You don’t have to book, just turn up, but it will help the organisers get an idea of numbers if you register interest here.
