2025/26 Junior Summer Competition

Registration for the Junior Summer Competition closes Monday August 4.

While our PLTC caps may be better suited to those of you who are headed off to some warmer weather, we’ve got plenty of good looking merch available in a range of styles and sizes - from jackets and windbreakers to polos and tanks (you can save them for summer don’t worry).

A quick recap of our recent Ladies Comp:

On the 10th of June our Section 2 Ladies team faced off against Surfcoast (Torquay Yellow) in the Grand Final at our Lonnie home courts. It was a bit of a wet start on the courts from some heavy rain the night before (ah - good old Vic hey), but a delayed start didn’t stop our ladies from giving it their all!

They all put up a whopping fight with some sets going into tie breaks, but all-in-all the ladies finished with 2 sets and 26 games to Torquay’s 4 sets and 33 games. It was a truly incredible effort all round, a huge congratulations to Anne, Linda, Diana, Kellie, Samantha and Val on a great season.

The next midweek ladies comp will be back up and running soon, with things kicking off on the 22nd of July.

Our social and midweek tennis is a great opportunity for you to get out, have a hit and meet some new people. We’ve got a great community around us here at PLTC so these nights are always a lot of fun!

The canteen and coffee machine are calling

Finally, don’t forget to swing by the canteen next time you’re down at the club and treat yourself to some pre or post-hit fuel. 

We’ve also got a brand new coffee machine all ready to brew up a storm and keep you nice and warm.
