Junior Tennis
Everything you need to know about junior tennis at Piccadilly Tennis Club.
Piccadilly Tennis Club offers a welcoming and supportive environment for junior players of all ages and stages. From beginners learning the basics through to players preparing for competition tennis, our programs are designed to build skills, confidence and a love of the game.
Our junior pathway includes development programs, coaching and competition opportunities, helping players progress at the right pace for their age and ability.
Coaching
We are fortunate to have a fantastic coaching team supporting our players this season.
David Gobbett, who many families will already know, returns as our club coach, continuing his great work developing players across all levels.
David is supported by a group of dedicated hit-up coaches, helping provide quality sessions and match play support for all players.
Junior Development Pathway
Piccadilly Tennis Club follows the Tennis Australia coloured ball pathway to support player development at every stage.
Hotshots
Focus on coordination, basic rallying and learning the fundamentals of tennis in a fun environment.
Orange Ball
Players develop consistency, serving, scoring and begin structured match play.
Green Ball

Players progress through these stages based on skill, confidence and readiness, with guidance from our coaching team.
