Dear Club members,

A belated Happy New Year to all.
There have been some happenings at our club.

Firstly, the online booking system (for Court 1 only), has been launched and is now in use. This can be accessed through our new website at  https://play.tennis.com.au/pearlbeachtennisandrecreationclub which is linked to the online court booking software called "ClubSpark".

So in order to book online, you need to register with ClubSpark. You should have received an invitation to
register via email. Please ensure you register using the link in the invitation, as this is how the system willvrecognise you as a member and ensure you receive member pricing for court hire.
Please note you need to use the same email you supplied with your membership information.

The regular social groups will not need to use it but will be provided with their own code for the combination lock. 

Also, those who wish to book through Judy McFarlane can still do that.

Secondly, we now have 2 pickleball courts on Court 2. The committee was unanimous in its support for this and the lines were marked out on December 13th. 

There are a couple of regular bookings at the moment which have been very well attended. Cost is $20 an hour for members which includes the net, 4 paddles and 10 balls.

Also, I’d like to farewell Klaas Woldring who has left Pearl Beach after more than 20 years playing with us. He and his wife Aafke are moving to Nambucca Heads. They will be missed.
