Court Care
With 3 lit red porous (en-tout cas) courts, it is important to take care of our courts. They are new and need to be well cared for to ensure a long life.
BEFORE & AFTER PLAY
Before play | Before play the court must be well watered. The courts will be dark red. You need to wait about 7 minutes before play can commence. |
After play | After play the courts must be bagged fence to fence. |
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
- Do not play on a wet courts
- Check the net height before altering. All nets should be at correct height, however if not, the net measuring sticks are located in the Clubhouse
- Play should be restricted to one hour if all courts are full
TENNIS SHOES
- Only shoes as described are to be worn on the courts.
- Shoes must be flat soled no heels clay court shoes
- Shoes with heels, ripples or moulding where any variation in the sole’s surface exceeds 4mm MUST NOT be worn.
- The sole of such shoes will damage the court surface.
- Best examples of suitable shoes to check against are Volleys or Nike clay court shoes. Soles must be completely flat
