The Annual General Meeting has been held last Tuesday.

The office holders have remainedmuch the same. Rick Farrell - President; Peter Gordon - Vice President; Nicole Gordon - Tresurer; Committee Persons - Frank Davey, Vicki Barber, Cato Bailey and Bernie Keating. The Secretary position is vacant as there were no nominations for the position.

Sandy Farrell will be available to consult with anyone who would like to put their hand up for the Secretary role. If you have wanted to learn a role like this for your Resume it would be a good place to start.

Our other news is that we will be having a working bee on Sunday August the 17th from 10am to 12 midday. We need to do some maintenance around the clubhouse and courts so bring some gloves with you. If you own or have access to a wire jenny spinner please let me know via email. It would be very handy for the working bee.

We also have some preliminary dates for the Spring Competition. Grading hits and practice to happen on Monday the 18th and 25th of August from 6pm and the comp proper to commence on Monday the 1st of September.

On Monday and Thursday mornings SOCIAL TENNIS happens all year round - anywhere between 9am to 11am. All level of players are welcome and we encourage beginners to come and have a go and maybe learn some of the bad habits the regulars have picked!
