As we move closer to Autumn, Weekend competitions at the club are starting to come to the end of the current season, so registrations for the next season are open for our club members. We have three possible competitions for members to consider, along with different formats. See below for further details on the specific competitions if you are interested. 🎾 Pennant - Tennis Victoria - https://www.tennis.com.au/vic/leagues/pennant

This is a long-standing competition facilitating high-level Singles and Doubles play. Play is available on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons, subject to court availability and team numbers. The format is dependent on the section a team is registered to compete in, however, each round will consist of a Doubles and Singles match for each player, in a team of 4 each round. Across the season, it is highly suggested and preferred for all teams to have at least 6 members registered to ensure availability for all members of the team.

🎾 Eastern Region Tennis - https://ertinc.au/

Another long-standing competition facilitating play for all levels, in both Doubles only and Singles & Doubles formats. For the Doubles only format, each player will play multiple sets of doubles, while in the Singles & Doubles format, each player will play a Doubles and Singles match. Play is available on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons, subject to court availability and team numbers.

🎾 Waverly District Tennis - https://www.waverleytennis.asn.au/

Another long-standing competition facilitating play for all levels, in both Doubles only and Singles & Doubles formats. For the Doubles only format, each player will play multiple sets of doubles, while in the Singles & Doubles format, each player will play a Doubles and Singles match. Play is available on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons, subject to court availability and team numbers.

How to register

👉 All players must be financial members of the club at the time of registration and remain as members during the competition season.

👉 Captains can register on behalf of their team, providing the following details for each player:

🔸 Full name and contact details (phone number, email, and date of birth if under 18)
🔸 Previous competition experience and UTR (if applicable)
🔸 Type of competition
🔸 Preferred day/section/format to play

👉 Individuals can also register their interest along with previous competition experience, and we will do our best to place you in a team.

Due to court availability, spots are not guaranteed and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The Competition Convenor may adjust teams as necessary.
