Nominations open for 2026 Country Carnival

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Country Carnival, and this year's event is set to be a smash, celebrating the tournament's 100th anniversary and returning to it's original home at Memorial Drive!

Players from Nairne Tennis Club are invited to nominate to represent the Hills Tennis Association at this milestone event, which offers a unique opportunity to compete across grass, synthetic and clay court surfaces.

Junior teams event

The junior teams event will be played on Friday 2 January to Tuesday 5 January 2026.

Matches follow a round robin format, with each match involving 4 singles and 2 doubles matches, 6-game sets for all matches.

Junior team entry is fully covered by the Hills Tennis Association and association polo tops will be available for use during the tournament.

Players can nominate to play in the following age groups:

  • 10 & under mixed (green ball)
  • 12 & under boys and girls
  • 14 & under goys and girls
  • 17 & under boys and girls

Age elegibility for the junior teams event is as of 31 January 2026.

To nominate for the junior teams event and represent the Hills Tennis Association, email [email protected] with the following details:

  • player’s full name and date of birth
  • email address and phone number
  • parent/guardian's details
  • any preferences for teams or friends

Player nominations close early December and will be collated by the Hills Tennis Association, who will nominate the teams.

Open teams event and individual events

The open teams event will be held Saturday 3 January and Sunday 4 January. 

The individual event is scheduled for Tuesday 6 January, to be confirmed once the number of teams taking part is known.
