Seniors competition

We're excited to share that our seniors team has been officially regraded and promoted from Division 4 to Division 3!

The season runs from 10 October to 13 December and then 16 January to 28 February, followed by finals, with matches generally played on Saturday afternoons.

Here's some important information for our players.

  1. The first match of the season and first match after Christmas will be played on Fridays
These matches are scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm but teams can negotiate to start earlier if they wish.
  2. All players need to have activated their UTR
If you're new or filling-in and don't already have your UTR set up, jump on to Match Centre and follow the instructions. Any matches containing an 'unspecified player' for any sets in a match will lose 2 premiership points unless it is rectified by the following week.
  3. Teams must play in order of merit according  to their singles UTR, with one position of flexibility.
This is a new rule this year. This may change each match so it's important to check the current UTRs each week. Unrated players should be placed where the captain feels they best fit. Unrated players who win or lose very easily should have their position within the team adjusted accordingly. The onus is on teams to notify SAC if an opposition team does not play in the correct order of merit. The strongest combination must play in the first doubles.
  4. The home team must provide afternoon tea
Make sure you provide some snacks for home matches
  5. New rules of match and play
The 2025/26 rules of match and play should be displayed in all clubrooms if you need to refer to them.
