We're calling on enthusiastic, community‑minded people to join our committee and help shape the future of Nairne Tennis Club!

Our volunteer committee plays a huge role in shaping tennis opportunities in Nairne, from coordinating participation in junior and senior competitions and social tennis to planning events and keeping our club welcoming and inclusive for people of all ages and levels.

We’re inviting new and returning members to be part of this important team for the 2026/27 season.

Key roles we’re looking to fill

⭐ President

A great opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership and wants to help guide the direction of the club. The President supports committee operations, leads meetings, and is the key representative of Nairne Tennis Club within the community.

⭐ Secretary / Public Officer

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication and coordination. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, record‑keeping and statutory obligations such as holding our AGM.

⭐ Sponsorship Coordinator

If you’re friendly, community-focused and confident building relationships, this is the role for you. Help the club grow by securing and maintaining partnerships with local businesses.

⭐ Seniors Coordinator

Support and grow our senior tennis programs, competitions and member engagement. A great fit for someone passionate about fostering active participation among adult players.

⭐ Social Tennis Coordinator

For those who love the fun side of tennis! Help organise  and run our social tennis sessions.


Other committee roles

We also have several other important positions on the committee, with existing committee members happy to continue filling these roles:

  • Treasurer – oversees budgets, payments and financial reporting.
  • Junior Coordinator – supports junior teams, parents and coaches.
  • Canteen Coordinator – manages canteen stock, budget and rosters.
  • Member Protection Officer – ensures our club remains safe, inclusive and welcoming for all.
  • Nairne Oval Committee Representative - represents the club and works with other sporting clubs that use the facilities to manage, coordinate and maintain the sporting complex.
