Macedon Ranges Tennis Association

The Macedon Ranges Tennis Association (MRTA) is a volunteer incorporated organisation whose purpose is to support, encourage, promote and govern competition tennis throughout the Macedon Ranges shire in Victoria.

The MRTA is proudly affiliated with Tennis Victoria and coordinates tennis competitions for all ages and abilities within the shire, including Friday/Saturday juniors competition, Saturday afternoon open competition, Wednesday evening women’s and Thursday evening open competitions.

We adopt the code of conduct and rules of tennis as docmented and enforced by Tennis Victoria and Tennis Australia.

Seasons: Summer and Winter

Day/Time: Friday night - 6pm  Saturday morning - 9am

Thursday night open

Seasons: Autumn and Spring

Day/Time: Thursday night - 7:30pm

Wednesday night women's

Seasons: Summer (22 week season)

Day/Time: Wednesday night - 7:30pm

Saturday mixed open

Seasons: Summer and Winter

Day/Time: Saturday - 1pm

MRTA is committed to Child Safegarding and has a zero tolerance approach to any form of child abuse and are committed to ensuring the sport of tennis is a safe and friendly environment for children and young people. It is imperative that children and young people who play our in competitions feel safe, included and supported. We will ensure that child safety is embedded in our organisation’s culture, reflected in our policies and procedures, and understood and practiced at our organisation and affiliated clubs.
