Mount Gambier Tennis Club

Established in 1903, the Mount Gambier Tennis Club is the original and oldest tennis facility in Mount Gambier. Competition was first held in February 1904, with the club expanding over the years to the current 12 court facilty. It is also the home of the only outdoor pickleball courts in Mount Gambier, and is the home of the Mount Gambier Pickleball Club.

Local competition tennis is run from October - March each year, with the club competing in the Mount Gambier & District Tennis Association at both junior and senior levels. Social tennis is held on Thursday nights for those looking for a hit with the clubrooms open for refreshments afterwards.

The club has recently secured funding for an upgrade to our complex, with the construction of 4 new courts and 2 Pickleball courts underwaym complete with lighting. Opening in Feb 2026 - players and the public will be able to book courts via our online booking links from March 2026.

Ideally located in the centre of Mount Gambier with plenty of off street parking, the club is always seeking new players and members to join the club .
