A number of tournaments / events are held at the Mornington Tennis Centre, including tournaments that are part of the following series / tours.

 

Junior Development Series (JDS)

The Junior Development Series is a group of tournaments managed by each state association for beginner to intermediate players.


Junior Tour (JT)

The Junior Tour (JT) is an umbrella tour that offers Australian Ranking Points and a clear competitive pathway

for aspiring players.


Australian Money Tournaments (AMT)

These semi-professional tournaments act as a stepping-stone to the Australian Pro Tour and offer both prize money and Australian Ranking Points. These tournaments range from a ‘Bronze Graded Tournament’ to a ‘Platinum Graded Tournament’, with prize money and ranking points distributed depending on the grade.


Universal Tennis Rating Tournaments (UTR)

UTR is a modified elo rating system that promotes fair and competitive play across the tennis world. Players are rated based on actual results, not age, gender, nationality, or socioeconomic status.


ITF World Junior Tour

The ITF Junior Circuit consists of more than 300 tournaments in over 100 countries. These tournaments for players aged between 13 and 18 give young players world-class competition and the chance to earn ITF Junior World Ranking Points.


ITF World Pro Tour

The Australian Pro Tour is a stepping-stone to the ATP/WTA Tours. It features professional-level events that offer both prize money and ranking points. The Pro Tour Events are one of highest-ranking tournaments in Australia and attracts the best players from Australia and internationally.


Regional Teams Events

Tennis Victoria’s Regional Teams Event Series provides talented junior players with the opportunity to represent their region in a team environment. These events cater to teams from Metropolitan Associations and the 11 Country Regions, who compete at venues all across Victoria.
