Merriwa Tennis Club

Merriwa Tennis Club was established in 1910.  A constant source of indiviudal and family fun and fitness for over a century, the club, located conveniently on the Golden Highway, now boasts four newly re-surfaced, synthetic, state-of-the-art courts for tennis players to enjoy. The recent $122, 000 facelift has resulted in an outstanding community facility, also functioning as a mulit-purpose surface accomodating basketball, netball and futsal, all against the  backdrop of Merriwa's golfing green and amazing silo art. There is also a newly constructed tennis hitting wall located conveniently beside the courts for both kids and adults to practice their game.

We hold night tennis competitions during the year which cater for all levels of play,  social tennis nights, ladies tennis mornings, and ANZ Hot Shots coaching for juniors. Day and evening court hire is available seven days a week. 

The club is managed by an enthusiastic group of passionate, tennis-playing community volunteers.
