Proud 2 Play

There is no doubt that participating in regular in sport, exercise and active recreation works wonders for long term physical health and it is also great for our mental wellbeing, however many LGBTIQA+ people stay away from sport and exercise for a multitude of reasons including lack of motivation, safety concerns and not feeling like they fit in in either men’s or women’s spaces.  The Country LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Program (CLIP) at Sunbury at Cobaw Community Health want to change that for LGBTIQA+ people living in the shire and that’s why together they are teaming up with Proud2Play to bring you ‘LGBTIQ+ inclusion in sport, movement and active living environments’ training. You can check out more of the work of Proud2Play here: https://www.proud2play.org.au/

Education is one of the most powerful tools for equipping people with the capacity to promote LGBTI+ inclusion in sport.
