Macedon Tennis Club

Macedon Tennis Club was founded in the early 1920’s in the township of Macedon so the club has decided to make 2025 our year of centenary celebrations. A series of celebratory events and fundraising activities will take place during 2025.

The first one will be held on Saturday March 29-30 2025 – a 24 Hour Tennis Marathon. There will also be a Centenary Cup (may the best team win!) and Gala event held in October 2025.

24 Hour Tennis Marathon Event Overview

From noon Saturday March 29th until noon on Sunday March 30th, tennis will be played continuously on at least one court at Macedon Tennis Club to raise money to resurface our hard courts!  As this is a fundraiser, members and non members/guests are welcome.

Donations - Social play is $10 per person. Wood and Whites and Fast4 Round Robin are $25 pp. Teens Allnighter is $50 pp or sell 5 raffle tickets! You can pay on the day via tap or cash. Raffle tickets will be for sale before & during the event. Sat 12pm-1pm -Event kick off and Social Play

1-4pm - Wood & Whites - Don your best tennis whites and pick up a wooden racquet at the club for some good old fashioned tennis followed by traditional Devonshire Tea. $25 per person. Pay via the QR code or cash at the clubhouse. Contact - Jodee Hurley 0421 470 636

4-5pm - Social Play

5-8pm - Fast4 Round Robin - Ready to get moving? Come down and play Fast4. $25 includes the a sausage sizzle after the event. BYO drinks.  Pay via the QR code or cash at the clubhouse. Contact Mark 0428 624 205

8-10pm - Social Play

10pm-9am - Teen Allnighter / Social Play - We will have activities for the teens as they prepare to take shifts to keep the tennis running overnight. Arrive by 7pm and grab a sausage and drink for dinner and secure your sleeping spot on the floor in the clubhouse.  There  will be late night movies, popcorn pizza and games but remember it is up to you to make sure the tennis doesn't stop all night. $50 per teen or sell 5 raffle tickets before the day for free entry to the allnighter! Sun 9am-12pm Family Fun Day - Come down for a hit and join in the family activities. Coach Ash will run Cardio Tennis from 9-10am for those who are feeling energetic.  There will be face painting and other fun activities for the kids. Gold coin donation. Contact Briohny Lebhink 0412 883 606
