Lucindale Tennis Club Welcome to

Tennis SA State League All Stars

Tennis SA, in conjunction with the Naracoorte Lucindale Council and Lucindale Country Club, will host the Tennis SA State League All Stars match at the Lucindale Country Club on Saturday 25 November 2023.

The state’s highest level competition will visit regional South Australia for the third time, following the highly successful events held in Port Lincoln and the Riverland in previous years.

Eight Tennis SA State League players will join six local tennis players to make two teams for the head-to-head which will feature singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

In an exciting new addition to the All Stars competition, local children are being encouraged to sign up as Ballkids. Come and try sessions will be held in September with a squad of 18 to be selected. One girl and one boy will then be chosen to be a part of the Adelaide International Ballkid Squad in 2024.

Introduction

Nestled within the lush Lucindale Country Club, the Lucindale Tennis Club welcomes all ages and abilities for both competition and social tennis. Playing on 12 magnificent lawn courts our facilities are well renown.

A volunteer run club, we offer lots of opportunities to get involved in tennis.

Lucindale HotShots Community Play program for children from reception to year 4 will be run at Lucindale Area School on Monday afternoons 3.30-4.30 starting 24th October 2022.

Private and Group tennis lessons with Dean Goldsworthy are on Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Adults lessons will be at Lucindale Country Club throughout term 4, with kids lessons from 3.15-7.17pm at Lucindale Area School. For bookings please contact coach Dean on 0456 635 939.

Junior competition tennis is played on Saturday morning in the new junior Southern Ports tennis comp against Naracoorte, Kingston and Millicent/Beachport.

Adults are encouraged to join us in competition tennis on a Saturday afternoon in the Southern Ports Tennis Assoc. The Lucindale Tennis Club has a strong tradition with four teams entered in the assoc. We welcome all players from beginners through to experienced players. The annual Lucindale Easter Tournament is also widely known and respected. City and country players alike, come from far and wide to play in the tournament every year and bring their whole family.
