Koonung Park Tennis Club

The committee is pleased to advise that the 5 front courts (courts 1-5) will be replaced with an Italian Clay surface.  We are expecting this to occur during the September school holidays.  The current en-tout-cas courts are causing issues and need replacement.  The new surface is also porous but requires less watering and maintenance.

Koonung Park is all about providing flexible playing options to meet your needs..

Simply register for 1 month,  2 months,  3 months, 6 months or 12 months by filling  in the membership form, make the payment on line that suits your needs, email the club and get a FOB key to the courts and clubhouse (additional $10).

There are 5 en-tout-cas surfaced courts and 4 courts with euro clay,  8 courts with LED lights and the club is situated on Springfield Rd diagonally opposite North Blackburn Shopping centre. Ample parking is available on site.

Tennis courts are open to members.

The following conditions of entry apply:

• Players must adhere to the code of conduct as outlined on the website page.
• All tennis activities are permitted except Professional coaching by members other than the Koonung Park Coaching team.
• Courts MUST be booked prior to play using the booking system (Booking System - Koonung Park Tennis Club | Skedda) . All players must be listed in the booking entry.  Only KPTC club members can make a booking.

Make use of the new ball machine:

The ball machine is made available free to all members.

 Use the booking system to reserve the machine when you are playing.

In the interest of fairness and the ability for more members to access courts during peak periods, the following rules have now been being built into the Skedda bookings system. 

• Sundays all day and weekdays from 4:00pm till 10:00pm,  you can only book one court and for a maximum of 1.5 hrs. (coaching, competition and specific social groups excepted).  Note: There are now 3 courts available for social play on Sundays.
• Weekdays from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm and any time Sundays, you can only book a maximum of once per week.
• At any other time, you can book up to 3 times per week.
• At any time on any day, you can only book a maximum of 6 days in advance.
• Note that various regular social groups, competition play and coaching are exempt from these conditions.
