Competition
IF YOU ARE A MEMBER YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO REPRESENT KINGSVILLE IN COMPETITIONS.
A Tennis ID and activated Universal Tennis Ranking (UTR) are required before you can be registered in a team.
In simple tems, you need to create an account on Match Centre and once logged in, select the option to activate your UTR. Please provide the Tennis ID to our competition co-ordinator (refer contacts page).

All competitions use Match Centre for fixtures and ladders.
Anyone interested in joining a team for the next season or playing emergency for the next season can contact either the Junior or Senior co-ordinator (see contacts page).
Kingsville have a Match Committee with the responsibility to:
- Inform members when registration is open for a new season
- Determine teams to enter in each competition
- Prepare court rosters
- Assist teams when an emergency player is required
- Assit with any disputes
- Liase with each of the tennis associations as needed

Junior Competition
Juniors play in the Western Region Tennis Association's mixed competition.
Summer comp runs from October to March and winter comp runs from April to September. Matches are played on Saturday or Sunday mornings during school term.

Senior Competition
Seniors play in the Western Region Tennis Association's competition on Saturday afternoons during school term.
Summer comp runs from October to March and winter comp runs from April to September.
In each match there are 4 singles sets and 1 doubles set. Teams can play either 2 or 3 players.
If 2 players, then each player has 2 singles and 1 doubles set.
If 3 players, then two of the players have 1 singles set and a doubles set. The third player will play 2 singles.

Night Competitions
Night competition is organised by the Western Suburbs Night Tennis Group.
Men's is played on Tuesday night's and ladies on Wednesday nights. The format is 4 people each participating in 3 doubles sets, playing one set with each of the other team members.

Tuesday Ladies
Kingsville has one team playing in the WSLTA Tuesday competition.
The competition has 2 seasons per year (Spring and Autumn) with no play during school holidays.
The tennis starts at 10am and concludes around 2pm each Tuesday and teams play at both home and away venues. Each player plays 4 sets (first to 6).
The Kingsville team is currently playing in section 1 with a strong competition from other Western Region clubs including Yarraville, Bacchus Marsh, Williamstown and Liston.
If you are a member and interested in joining the team, or could even play sometimes as an emergency, please contact the senior competition co-ordinator.

Tennis Victoria Pennant
This competition is played in winter only.
Kingsville will enter a men's or ladies team if we have sufficient numbers.
