Kialla Park Old Students Tennis Club fields a growing number of teams in the Shepparton Junior Tennis Association (SJTA), Shepparton and District Tennis Association (SDTA), Shepparton District Midweek ladies Tennis Association (SDMLTA) and Goulburn Murray Lawn Tennis Association (GMLTA).
Kialla Park Twilight Social Competitions
Kialla Park run two very successful twilight competitions throughout the year. Tuesday night is a mixed competition of two men and two women in each team. Players each play 3 sets of doubles. This competition is very family friendly, usually finishing at 8pm during daylight savings, and 9pm in the Autumn months. Competitions run during Spring, Summer and Autumn, under lights.
Wednesday night sees a dedicated Men’s competition with 3 in a team, playing both singles and doubles. This competition is fiercely contested, usually with very close results. Competitions run during Spring and Summer, under lights.
Shepparton Junior Tennis Association | Grades A-C, Doubles Div 1 and Doubles Div 2 (beginner levels)
KPOS enters around 10 teams into the SJTA each year. With over 50 junior members, juniors compete on Saturday mornings (9am) commencing in mid October each year, running through to December and then recommencing late January and concluding late March, in line with school holidays. KPOS hold a junior grading day each year where our Club Coach and Junior Coordinators finalise teams. Adverse weather will be communicated on 95.3fm and 96.9fm between 7.30am – 8am each Saturday. KPOS enter teams into the SDLMTA each year in both the Tuesday afternoons and Thursday mornings competitions. The competition offers both summer and winter seasons. KPOS currently enters six teams; Tuesday (Pennant, A grade and A2 grade) and Thursday (Pennant, A2 grade and A3 grade). For more information about the SDMLTA visit their website.

KPOS enter teams into the SDTA each year. Competition is on Friday night or Saturday afternoon and played on synthetic grass and hard court. There are both summer and winter seasons and a variety of grades. Adverse weather will be communicated on 98.5fm between 11.30am – 12pm each Saturday. Goulburn Murray Lawn Tennis Association | GM 1, GM 2, GM 3, GM 4,
This is a Saturday afternoon competition. Season commences mid October and runs through to December, then recommences in January and concludes in late March. Teams generally consist of three or four men and three or four women playing singles, doubles and mixed doubles to eight games.
