From 27.4-29.9.24 Challenge the person above you on the ladder to a 1 tie-break set.Move up the ladder if you win. The loser can re-challenge the winner to the best of 3 sets, or best of 5 sets, etc on the same or a different day, until the winner challenges the next person . For example 9 challenges 8 and they play 1 set 8 wins 9 can keep challenging 8 as often as they like, but must win a majority of the sets to move up (Ie 2 out of 3, or 3 out of 5 sets). The sets can be played on the same day, or on different days until 8 has challenged and arranged a match with 7. (This allows players who are keen for more sets to play more sets and not get “stuck” because others in the ladder are not challenging and moving. For example, if 9 played 8 and lost the set, but then 8 did not challenge 7 for ages, and 10 didn’t challenge 9, then 9 would have no sets to play until other people played their sets. There's always a match to play.
