Code of Conduct
We want Heathcote Tennis Club to remain a fun, inclusive and safe environment for every person who walks through our gates. We require all players, spectators, parents and casual users of the courts to abide by these Fair Play Guidelines.
We follow Tennis Australia’s Code of Behaviour Policy for competitive matches.
Extreme Weather Policy
For adults, Heathcote Tennis Club follows Tennis Australia’s National Extreme Weather Policy.
For Junior Tennis:
- Hot Shots is CANCELLED on days of Extreme or Catastrophic Fire Danger Ratings.
- Hot Shots is CANCELLED on days where the forecasted temperature is 33°C or above.
- On hot days, increased opportunities for drink breaks to be incorporated into the program.
Member Protection and Child Safety Policies
As we are affiliated with Tennis Australia, we abide by the national Member Protection and Child Safe Policies.
We take our safeguarding of children responsibilities very seriously.

No Smoking and Vaping Policy
Heathcote Tennis Club is a non-smoking club. Smoking is banned within ten meters of any club activity, premises, venue, training or match facility.
Heathcote Tennis Club members are to politely ask any person found to be in violation of this policy to move to an area that is outside of club grounds and away from the club house and tennis courts.
Sun Protection Policy
Heathcote Tennis Club urges all members to exercise personal responsibility whilst playing tennis, We supply free sunscreen and encourage all members to regularly make use of it.
