Member Protection
If you would like to raise a concern or make a complaint of harassment, abuse and any other inappropriate behaviour involving Harkaway Tennis Club, please email our Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) at mailto:harkaway.tennis@gmail.com.
Our MPIO will:
- Act as your first point of contact for enquiries, concerns or complaints of harassment and abuse and any other inappropriate behaviour involving HTC;
- Listen to your concern or complaint and act as an impartial support person through the complaint process. An MPIO does not mediate or investigate the complaint;
- Provide information about Tennis Australia’s Member Protection Policy and the options available to resolve your complaint;
- Provide contact details for counselling or other referrals as appropriate or as requested.

Tennis Australia’s Member Protection Policy is in place to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone who participates in Australian tennis. Tennis Australia’s Code of Conduct outlines the expected behaviours for everyone participating or attending a Tournament in Australia including parents.
