In November we hosted a first for GPTC - the One Point Slam!

An initiave from Tennis Australia to generate some hype leading into the Summer of Tennis, Gove hosted its event leading into its Club Championships.

A good sign on to play it out - win stay in, lose you are out!

The final play off was between Levai McLean and Rafiki Bursle.  Levai plays with lots of spin and consistency and Raf an energetic never give up style of game, were the final two.  It was a rally of great shots, with spectators holding their breath to see who was going to be the winner to represent Gove................Levai.

Levai was then off to Darwin to play against all other NT players from thei respected clubs.  Levai made it through to the final against local player from Alice Springs - Thomas Van Haaren whome went onto AO to represent the NT.  Up for grabs was $1 Million for their club.
