Gove Peninsula Tennis Club

The Gove Peninsula Tennis Club trading as Tennis Gove, is located at the top of Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory.

A three-court facility and club house, boasts in excess of 150 members within a population of approximately 3000 people.

Members can access competitions, tournaments, tours, coaching, cardio tennis, family functions, court hire, canteen and pro-shop facilities.

We are a very dynamic club with a pro active committee.  We have a big focus on club development and an aim to provide as many opportunities for our juniors as possible.

We have achieved recognition from Tennis NT for our efforts in taking out the “Club of the Year” award on 7 occaisions, in 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010 & 2011.

We have received recognition from Tennis Australia through the Newcombe Medal Awards, by receiving “Most Outstanding Tennis Community” in Australia in 2011 & “Most Outstanding Tennis Club” in Australia 2010.

Our pro shop services the needs of our members and community.  stocking a range of junior & adult racquets, tennis balls and a range of accessories. 

The location of the club is in the heart of the town center, along side The Arnhem Club and in close proximity to the town pool.

Our courts were upgraded in 2010 going blue with a Synpave surface.  We thank the NT Government & Tennis Australia for their financial assistance for this upgrade.
